Ras Al Khaimah has been accepted into Virtuoso and Serandipians by Traveller Made, two invitation-only luxury travel networks that include some of the world’s most prestigious destinations.
Membership in both networks is reserved for destinations and providers that meet high standards in authenticity, sustainability, service quality and guest experience. Ras Al Khaimah now joins a list that includes Santorini, Kyoto, the Amalfi Coast and the Serengeti, placing it among a select group of international destinations recognised for luxury and experiential travel.
According to the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA), the emirate’s application highlighted not only its resort portfolio but also its cultural and experiential offerings, as well as a development pipeline that will expand its luxury credentials in the coming years.

“Becoming part of Virtuoso and Serandipians marks a pivotal moment for Ras Al Khaimah as it continues to evolve as a destination,” said Iyad Rasbey, Vice President of Destination Tourism Development at RAKTDA. “These partnerships will showcase the emirate’s blend of nature, culture and hospitality to a global audience of travellers who value authenticity and exclusivity.”
Ras Al Khaimah is home to established properties such as Waldorf Astoria and The Ritz-Carlton, alongside recent openings including Anantara Mina Al Arab and Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort. Upcoming developments by Wynn Resorts, Four Seasons and Nobu Hotels are expected to further strengthen its high-end offering.
The emirate also promotes experiences that combine adventure, nature and heritage — from the world’s longest zipline on Jebel Jais and hot-air balloon rides at sunrise to desert stargazing and visits to the Suwaidi Pearl farm.
