Marjan, the master developer of freehold properties in Ras Al Khaimah, has completed infrastructure works at RAK Central, its upcoming mixed-use commercial development, and appointed ALEC as the main contractor for the HQ Office Complex. The milestone marks the start of the emirate’s new business hub in line with RAK Vision 2030.

Spanning 3.1 million sq ft of prime land and offering 8.37 million sq ft of gross floor area, RAK Central is now ready for activation by investors and sub-developers. Wet and dry services, including stormwater, sewerage, irrigation, firefighting, potable water, electrical networks, and street lighting, are fully operational, while roads, cycle tracks, landscaping, and hundreds of trees have been completed.

With this foundation in place, sub-developers will begin commercial, residential, retail, and hospitality projects, with the HQ Office Complex scheduled for completion in Q1 2027.

“RAK Central has progressed into a new activation phase with the completion of infrastructure works and onboarding of global contractors,” said Abdulla Al Abdouli, CEO of Marjan. “The involvement of leading developers reinforces our vision to create a world-class hub that combines business, lifestyle, and tourism, enhancing Ras Al Khaimah’s appeal for international investors and families.”

Located on Sheikh Mohammed bin Salem Al Qasimi Street, with views of Al Hamra Golf Club and the Arabian Gulf, RAK Central offers direct access to the E-11 highway. Designed as a work-live-play district, it will include Grade A offices, residences, hotels, retail, and a central Town Square.

The masterplan provides three million sq ft of rentable office space, more than 4,000 residential apartments, four hotels with over 1,000 keys, multiple parks and green spaces, retail and entertainment facilities, and parking for more than 1,000 visitors. Office buildings are LEED Gold certified, dual-licensed, and designed under a hospitality-driven model.

RAK Central is now open to international investors, corporations, and residents as Ras Al Khaimah’s most dynamic new address. – WAM
