Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) has entered into an alliance with Bolt, Kabi by Al Ghurair, and Zed, the UAE’s homegrown ride-hailing app, to reshape the city’s mobility landscape.

The agreement, signed by Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi, CEO of Dubai Taxi Company, and Badr Al Ghurair, CEO of Kabi, brings together two of Dubai’s largest taxi operators under the e-hailing umbrella. DTC’s fleet of 6,200 taxis and Kabi’s 3,680 vehicles will be seamlessly integrated into Bolt and Zed platforms, providing customers with faster bookings, reduced waiting times, and improved service efficiency.

The initiative directly supports Dubai Government’s target of shifting 80 percent of taxi trips to e-hailing under the Roads and Transport Authority’s smart mobility strategy. The partnership also comes as Dubai’s taxi sector recorded a seven percent growth in the first half of 2025 compared with the same period in 2024, reflecting rising demand.

Alfalasi said the collaboration will “expand access to taxis and embed them more deeply into the digital ride-hailing experience,” while Badr Al Ghurair described it as a “pivotal step in uniting industry expertise to set new benchmarks in efficiency, service quality, and sustainability.”
