Arada has awarded a AED 397 million construction contract to Modern Building Contracting Company (MBCC) for the development of the Rove Aljada hotel and Rove Home Aljada branded residences within its AED 35 billion Aljada megaproject in Sharjah.
Located next to the upcoming Arada Central Business District (CBD) and Madar Mall, the four-block Rove Aljada complex will include a 192-room hotel and 306 branded residences, with completion scheduled for December 2027.
Rove Aljada will feature a rooftop pool, co-working areas, a 24-hour gym, and an all-day dining restaurant, while Rove Home Aljada will offer one- to three-bedroom serviced apartments with access to exclusive leisure and retail facilities.
The new hospitality cluster expands Arada’s growing portfolio at Aljada, which already includes the upcoming Nest Hotel opening later this year and the Vida Aljada complex scheduled for Q1 2026. Both Vida Aljada and The Address Aljada are owned by Arada and operated by Emaar Hospitality Group.
Construction at Aljada continues to progress rapidly, with work under way on the 40-building Arada CBD district and a AED 2.2 billion contract recently awarded to UNEC for the Zaha Hadid–designed Madar Mall.
Now home to more than 20,000 residents, Aljada will eventually feature over 25,000 homes, along with extensive retail, entertainment, hospitality, education, and wellness facilities.
