Abu Dhabi has unveiled the world’s first AI public servant with the launch of TAMM AutoGov at GITEX Global 2025.
The AI function — part of the emirate’s unified digital platform, TAMM — can automatically manage recurring citizen tasks such as license renewals, utility payments, and healthcare appointments, operating quietly in the background of daily life.
The AutoGov system uses advanced automation to ensure services run seamlessly and securely, allowing residents to set preferences and customise how their interactions with government happen, without the need for manual intervention.
Building on the success of the TAMM AI Assistant, which already integrates more than 1,100 public and private services, the new AutoGov function elevates service delivery from reactive to proactive. The TAMM AI Assistant provides contextual support and can now complete entire processes on a user’s behalf, improving accessibility and efficiency across the platform.

Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of the Department of Government Enablement, Abu Dhabi, said: “The launch of TAMM AutoGov is truly transformative. Government is no longer reactive, it is a partner that is intelligent, human-centred, and present at the moments that matter most. With the world’s first AI public servant, Abu Dhabi is showing the world what anticipatory government looks like.”
TAMM also introduced a series of new features that enhance accessibility and personalisation. AI Vision and Smart Guide simplify processes through visual cues, real-time document scanning, and voice-enabled navigation in Arabic and English. Personalised dashboards and reminders help residents track tasks and upcoming deadlines, making interactions faster and more intuitive.
Beyond automation, TAMM is expanding human connection through TAMM Spaces, which now includes dedicated hubs for Family, Mobility, and Sahatna (Health), all designed around daily life needs. A new TAMM Hologram service will allow citizens and residents to connect face-to-face with live government agents through holographic pods offering real-time bilingual support.
Residents will also be able to help shape the future of digital services through TAMM by You, a participatory platform enabling users to propose and vote on new ideas aligned with Abu Dhabi’s “Year of Community.”
Dr. Mohamed Al Askar, Director General of TAMM, said: “We’re moving from one-off transactions to intelligent journeys that adapt to people’s needs. This is the true promise of an AI public servant, to give people back their time and peace of mind.”
The TAMM platform now integrates services from over 90 public and private entities, including ADX, Comera, Wio Bank, the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, and SAAED. These partnerships enable end-to-end transactions within the platform, strengthening Abu Dhabi’s ecosystem of connected governance.
The unveiling of AutoGov forms part of the Abu Dhabi Government Digital Strategy 2025–2027. With AI at its core, the initiative sets a global benchmark for digital government, reflecting Abu Dhabi’s commitment to creating seamless, inclusive, and human-centred public services.
