Nuaimeya Towers, Ajman
Maha Khan
Moving to the UAE was always about building more than just a life. I wanted comfort, independence, and a space that felt like home. I arrived in this country 10 years ago from Pakistan, initially basing myself in Sharjah. But it was here in Ajman, at Nuaimeya Towers, that I finally found what I’d been hunting for.
When I saw my current flat, I said yes without hesitation. The space works for me and my cat. Walking through the lobby and hallway up to the flat, I noticed how clean everything was. Most important: families mostly live here, which gives a single woman like me a sense of safety.

Money matters a lot when you’re the only one financially responsible. Ajman made sense because it’s affordable, and the distance to Dubai and Sharjah is reasonable. I’d rather live alone with peace than compromise comfort with roommates. True, not having my own car complicates the commute sometimes. Taxis help, but I do keep an eye on transport costs. Still, I have zero regrets. This was a smart decision.
Ajman is slowly showing off its beauty, its beaches, nature, and safety, and I hope more people get to see this hidden gem.
